When you use the 'Email Your MP' tool, you enter your first name, last name, email address and postal address. These details, together with your postcode, the MP matched to it, and the date and time of your submission, are logged to a secure Google Sheet shared only with the Freedom and Fairness for Northern Cyprus campaign team. We do not read or store the text of the email you generate.
The data collected (first name, last name, email, postal address, postcode and the MP contacted) is used by the Freedom and Fairness for Northern Cyprus campaign to understand supporter engagement and, where appropriate, to contact you about the campaign. By submitting the form, you consent to this use.
Your email is composed in your browser and sent directly from your own email client. This website does not send the email to your MP on your behalf, and does not read or store the content of the email you generate. Only the details described in section 1 are saved to the campaign's Google Sheet.
We use the UK Parliament Members API to identify your MP by postcode. Your postcode is sent to this API to perform the lookup but is not retained by it. Data is stored in Google Sheets (Google LLC). Please see freedom-and-fairness.org/privacy-policy for the campaign's full data policy.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting the campaign via freedom-and-fairness.org.
